Behind The Scenes at Dawn to Dusk Shoot
Posted on 20 March 2012
It was a perfect day with glassy waves and an unusual amount of surfers in the water, surrounding the Miskini shoot. Seemingly the best waves to be found were right near models Camille and Olga whose reality defying bodies were causing some major traffic in the swell off Wategos beach. Blue skies and a delicious autumn's day made for an outstanding start to the shoot for spring/summer 2012-13.
Who wouldn’t be blown away by the awesome beauty of Olga, framed perfectly by the northerly swell as she wandered in to the sea in the 'Carmen' turquoise bandeau bikini? And only a blind man would be oblivious to the presence of Camille, stopping traffic on Marine Parade as she took a post swim shower in the heavenly white' Tinky' bikini.
Photographer, Nick Leary almost lost his camera to the surf a few times trying to capture the Miskini women moving with grace and agility in the ocean.
Russian stunner Olga looked like the classic Aussie surfer chick leaning up against a retro combi wearing a bikini in the summery shade of sunshine yellow. iPhones came out and marriages were strained as passers by tried to get a glimpse of the gorgeous women.
The colour palette of sunshine yellow, midnight blue, turquoise, caramel, mint and white was in perfect synergy with the divine scenery of Wategos beach. Camille and Olga however were giving Australia’s most easterly point a run for its money in the beauty stakes.
The weather played ball and a stunning sunset over the cape, capped off a spectacular day for the Miskini 2012 -13 shoot
