Best Coffee and Home Made Pastries in Town : TOP SHOP

It's a must visit. One of those rare places where you are made to feel very welcome, greeted by friendly smiles , fabulous pastries  and exotic tasty dishes washed down with the best coffee in town. It’s the local hang out.

Natures Secret: MINYON FALLS

An enchanted forest where you can meander down flat rocks and gentle rapids, to stunning water falls and water holes. This is the place where I love to take my family and friends that are from out-of-town. It is a sight and experience people will never forget. Even though it is an hours drive from Byron, it is worth the adventure.

Surf’s Up: WATEGOS BEACH

This is my favourite beach in the world. With it’s gentle rolling, turquoise waves; it is the perfect beach for long-board riding with a majority of women surfing here. Wategos beach is at the base of the Byron Bay lighthouse. It’s the most easterly point of  the Australian mainland, where you are able to get first glimpse of the sunrise. Daily sightings of whales, dolphins and turtles are part of it’s beauty.

Sky Scape: SUNSETS AND RAINBOWS

Its is hard to keep your head down when the skies are magnificently decorated with colours from double rainbows to an empowering sun set. Mesmerized by the sky scape, I have been influenced by it’s colour palette.

Where to Wander: MARKET DAY

Markets in the Byron Shire are world famous for its colourful mix of stalls, from Byron Bay to the Channon. There is always a wonderful range of artists, craftsmen, jewellers, farmers and bakers. Buskers keep the beat alive. Food stalls offer a scrumptious range of treats. Sugar cane and mandarin juice is squeezed before your eyes. A delightful way to spend a Sunday cruising the stalls or meeting up with friends.
